Make My Piece

This is an update to my initial review.

I finally received my piece after waiting just over 21 weeks. I was initially told 10-12 weeks so the extra 10 weeks waiting time was incredibly annoying.

The piece itself is lovely and would almost be worth the 21 week long wait and awful customer service, HOWEVER, the delivery guys dropped it right in front of me and when I removed the plastic there were two cracks across the top! I sent a picture message of this to the seller and of course I have had no response from them. Given their previous levels of communication that was to be expected so no real surprises there.

My initial review (left under 'Indus Valley Furniture' - I believe they had a name change?) mentioned their lack of communication and response after payment was made. Particularly regarding the lengthy delays - I found it incredibly difficult to get information out of them. I still stand by this initial assessment.

So in summary - the piece IS beautiful, BUT took 21 weeks to be delivered and arrived damaged with no response from seller regarding this.

If sellers were more realistic with delivery time frames and actually had the courtesy to respond to queries, I doubt they would have so many unhappy customers.
